Acceptance of Terms

By using liway, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What liway Provides

liway is a financial awareness tool that estimates whether you will have enough money until your next paycheck. It is not a bank, financial advisor, or budgeting service. All projections are estimates based on the data you provide.

Not Financial Advice

liway does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The risk levels (SAFE, TIGHT, RISK) are estimates, not guarantees. Always consult a qualified financial professional for financial decisions.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Use a strong password. You can delete your account and all data at any time from Settings.

Bank Connections

Bank connections are provided through Plaid. liway receives read-only access to your account balances. We cannot move money, make payments, or initiate transactions on your behalf.

Subscriptions

Check In is free and stays free. Full liway is an optional paid tier that adds the leeway meter, Your Forecast, Your Spending, Your Activity, Your Position and the What if simulator.

New accounts include a 7-day free trial. No card is needed to start it, and nothing is charged when it ends — subscribing is a choice you make in the app.

After the trial, Full liway is an auto-renewing subscription: 6.99 USD per month or 59.99 USD per year. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Full liway until the end of the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf, because the store holds it, not us.

Payments, renewals and refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms. We never see or store your card details. Refund requests go to the store that took the payment.

If a price changes, the store will tell you before the change takes effect and ask for your agreement where its rules require it. If your subscription lapses for any reason, you keep Check In and your data — only the Full liway features close.

Accuracy

liway's calculations depend on the accuracy of the data you provide (bills, spending estimates) and the timeliness of bank balance updates. We are not responsible for inaccurate projections due to incorrect or outdated input data.

Availability

We aim to keep liway available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of liway after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
